What We Collect

This is a static portfolio site. We do not collect any personal data.

• No tracking pixels. No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracker.
• No cookies. We do not set cookies of any kind, including session, analytics, and preference cookies.
• No analytics service. There is no OpenPanel, Plausible, Fathom, or any other analytics installed.

When you visit this site, the only network requests are:

• This site's own assets (HTML, CSS, JS, fonts, images)
• The Groq API, and only when you send a message through the chatbot.

Chatbot

The chatbot is powered by Groq. When you send a message:

1. Your message is sent to the Groq API to generate a response.
2. Your message and the response are stored in your browser's localStorage so your conversation is remembered if you refresh or navigate to another page.
3. Messages are not stored on any server. They exist only in your browser.
4. Messages are not used to train or improve any model.
5. We do not store, review, or retain your chatbot conversations on our end.

Email

If you contact us directly at rubi.webdev@gmail.com, any information you share is used solely to respond to your message. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share your email with anyone else.

Third-Party Services

We use one third-party service:

No other third-party services are used on this site.

Data Retention

• Chatbot messages. These are stored in your browser's localStorage only, and never on a server. You can clear them anytime through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data.
• Email correspondence. We keep it as long as we need it to respond to your inquiry, and we delete it on request.
• No other data is collected or retained.

Your Rights

Since we collect no personal data, there is generally nothing to exercise. However, if you have sent us an email and would like us to delete it, just reply to let us know and we will do so.

If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have the right to contact us with any concerns about how your data may be handled (though again, we collect nothing).

Security

We take reasonable precautions to keep this site and any associated data safe. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is served over HTTPS (TLS) to protect data in transit between your browser and our servers.

Policy Updates

If this policy changes, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. If the change is material, we will announce it on the site's blog.
