1. 2025 — Present Current

   Founder & Principal Engineer

   Rubiconetic

   • One-person software studio. I do the product design, the architecture, the build, the store release, and the support calls after.
   • Shipped Scanity to the iOS App Store and Google Play. It's an ingredient scanner that resolves additives through their E-numbers, trade names, and synonyms across 452,000+ products.
   • Rewrote both apps off React Native. Scanity is Swift and SwiftUI, with Skip transpiling that source into Jetpack Compose for Android. MacroMeso's scheduling logic outgrew what a shared transpiled layer could carry, so it runs two hand-written codebases: SwiftUI on iOS, Jetpack Compose on Android.
   • Built Scanity's data layer on USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts with nightly refreshes, and kept user data on the device rather than on a server.
   • Building MacroMeso, a diet and training engine that pairs macro targets with mesocycle programming, in native Swift and Kotlin.
   • Run the studio's backend on a two-node K3s cluster, all of it GitOps. FluxCD reconciles from Git, SOPS and Age encrypt the secrets so they can sit in a public repo, and Longhorn handles distributed storage.
   • Split the network in two: Cloudflare Tunnels expose the client-facing n8n webhooks without opening a single firewall port, and Tailscale keeps every admin tool off the public internet entirely.
2. Jan 2025 — Present Current

   Freelance Automation Engineer & Web Developer

   Upwork

   • Saved clients over $96K by delivering 100+ n8n automations, moving staff off repetitive work.
   • Cut client onboarding time 73% with a deployed onboarding automation and custom dashboard.
   • Migrated 15 Zapier Zaps to n8n, producing more robust and cost-effective workflows under client control.
   • Built a Slack bot that securely triggers backend automations for content generation and data processing, saving ~81 labor hours per month.

   • Moved to part-time reserve status to finish my BAS in Internet & Web Development (Aug 2024) and go full-time into software. Client automation work started as this enlistment closed out.
